Our organic apricot kernel oil is made from selected organic apricot kernels and is processed with great care in our oil mill in Hausen am Albis (ZH). The pressing is deliberately slow and carried out in small quantities. We ensure that the temperature always remains below 37 °C and that the kernels are not heated beforehand. This particularly gentle process protects the delicate ingredients and preserves the natural quality of the oil. This results in an apricot kernel oil that remains fresh, nutritious, and in its original form.

What does apricot kernel oil taste like?Our organic apricot kernel oil impresses with a mild, subtly nutty taste and a pleasantly soft texture. Subtle and versatile.Does apricot kernel oil contain hydrocyanic acid?Apricot kernels can naturally contain amygdalin, a substance from which hydrocyanic acid can be formed. Gentle cold pressing ensures they are optimally preserved.Can I heat apricot kernel oil?Apricot kernel oil is a high-quality cold-pressed oil and is ideal for cold application. It is not intended for heating.Is apricot kernel oil a medicine?No, apricot kernel oil is a food and care oil. It does not replace medical treatment.
